Dear Woodies,

We hope you're well on these chilly October days?
(Well, it's chilly here in Shanghai! Brrr...)

We just wanted to update you nice and early about the estimated delivery timeline for OOTW again now we have a little new information.

As you can see from our updates, all of the 'art stuff' is on schedule.
That includes everything from the card art, to the book layout, to box design, to all other incidental design elements and graphical updates to the product.

The only thing that's not within our power to control or to schedule is the creation of the game/book/boxes etc.. at the factory.
And as you might have imagined, the end of the year is usually quite a busy time for these factories that produce the games that go into people's Christmas stockings. But apparently, this year is extra busy we have just been informed.

Unfortunately, this means our estimated delivery date of January 2018, is now potentially liable to slip. We hope that it could only be a month or so slippage, but an absolute worst case scenario should put the shipping date to around April. 

Sorry for the bad news, but we just wanted to keep you all in the loop and up to date.
We hope you're not looking as sad as these 7 fellows....

We will strive to ensure factory production happens as quickly as possible and we'll keep you up to date with those conversations as they happen.

Dear Woodies  

It's been a while.
We hope you're all ok and not stuck up a tree hiding from the wolves :)  

Since the Mid-Autumn festival is over now here in China, work is ramping up again... so here we go.....  

Here we have the creepy merchant from Jack and the Beanstalk. Not sure I'd buy anything from this guy, although those colourful bottles do look appealing :)

We also have an update on what the cover of Illustrated book is going to look like.
You guys probably saw the mock-up in the Kickstarter campaign page, but here's a more rounded 'bookish' look. Imagine all the red of the logo, and main wolf features as lovely and foiled and varnished.
That's what we're aiming for.

We've also been discussing the style/size of the autographed collectors card for all our backers after reaching the stretch goal.
Initially our designer thought we might put it into the box, but that meant either the card would be quite small or would be folded. Both of which are not appealing.
So we think the Collectors card will now be game-box sized, yet will ship outside of the actual box.
This way we can keep it nice and big and special looking.

It's also been a while since we poked our backers about providing their details on Backerkit. There's still 310 of you that need to do this. So please do. We really want to give you the stuff you've paid for   :D

Mid-Autumn Festival Greetings

As we roll into one of the big week-long Chinese national holidays over here, that doesn't mean we're gonna run away and leave you all in the dark and scary woods all alone.

Greetings, People of the Woods.

Here we are with a little update about what's going on with us and everything in that realm that you might be interested in.

BACKERKIT...

We get the same question asked quite frequently across various channels, "Did you get my Backerkit survey?" 
To which the simple answer is... "If you filled it in, then we got it."
Not only that, but you guys have access to pretty much the same info we do. 
You can access and check and update your survey as much as you like before the mid-December lock-down. Hint: There's no need to verify with us what you can verify yourself   :)

FUTURE SUPPORT...

All you backers have been super awesome in supporting OOTW and joining us on our merry ole journey, but you know for us, there's no resting on our laurels just because the funding period is over.  We already got more ideas for future projects and such.  
If you'd like to be part of what we're doing, there's various ways to show support and help.

1) Add your email address HERE if you're interested in helping to get Alice 3 one step closer to becoming a reality.
2) Subscribe to American's YouTube channel.  We do lots of live-streams and talk about all things OOTW/Alice/McGee.
3) American even has a Patreon account too.  You can pledge a little support here and get sneak peeks at art/info before it's released to the public. Head on over and have a read. There's some early access "Alice: Asylum" stuff posted over there just now!

Thank you all for joining us on our journey through the woods.
But did any of you have any questions about our Kickstarter? Or perhaps you're thinking of running one yourself and want to avoid some common pitfalls? Is there any question about OOTW and the team here in Shanghai that's simply keeping you awake at night?

Pop any questions you have down in the comments and we'll try to answer some/any/all of them in an upcoming live-stream in a sort of AMA with pre-planned questions   :)
